ISK Guide – Mission Running

Although mission running is not the best way to make ISK in Eve Online it is a easier method that can be used to make enough ISK to get anyone by, Also mission running in Eve Online is a great way for players that are new to Eve Online to start making some ISK.

Basically there are 4 different types of missions in Eve Online and there are level 1 to 5 missions 5 being the hardest but most rewarding. Depending on what agent you get your mission from will depend on what type of mission you will get.

Another thing to remember is the 4 hour wait for another mission when you reject one, This does not mean you can not do another mission for 4 hours it just means you can not do another Eve mission from that particular agent. As well as the 4 hour wait if you decline more missions your standings with that agent and his fraction will drop which can have some negative effects on you at their stations.

ISK Guide – Eve Courier Missions

By far the easiest type of mission in Eve Online, all you need to do is pick up a item in one station and take it to the next station. You will get a bonus reward if you can deliver all the items in one trip but that depends on your how big your cargo hold is, you can still do this mission for the regular reward and a standings increase.

There are certain factors to check when running courier missions in Eve Online one would be the route you have to take to complete the mission since sometimes it will require you to go though very low sec spaces which is always dangerous in Eve Online, Another thing to check if you have a space ship is how big one of the items is and you need to do this manually since sometimes you will not be able to carry the item.

ISK Guide – Eve Mining Missions

Once again this type of Eve Online Missi0n is quite easy and has low risk, All you are required to do is travel to a certain location and mine a special type of ore that cannot be reprocessed. Once you take this ore back to your mission agent you will be given your reward for the mission.

It goes without saying that the better your mining skills are the easier these missions will be for you to complete and sometimes you will need to mine all of the mission area to complete the mission this sounds annoying but generally it has its good points since you can fail missions by losing the ore.

ISK Guide – Eve Trade Missions

I like to think of this Eve missions as half a courier mission since you do not have to go and pick up a item and take it elsewhere you just need to take a item to a certain location, One problem with this missions is you will normally have to buy the item since the agent has nothing to do with getting you the item to transport.

Normally the item is worth a lot less than the reward for completing the mission but in some very rare cases I have found that the cargo costs more ISK than what the mission is worth so basically its a complete waste of time and ISK once again this is rare but it can happen so watch out for it when doing Eve Trade Missions.

ISK Guide – Eve Kill Missions

Basically killing things and sometimes you are required to collect certain items from the killed ships or structures, Once again these missions are easy but they have a much higher risk than any other but also a much higher reward than any other mission in Eve Online. The ISK and Loyalty points earned from kill missions are normally a lot higher than trade, courier or mining missions.

A lot Eve Online players like doing kill missions since all you really need to do them is a battleship and combat skills which can also be used later on for PvP activities which it is all about really. Some very skilled fighter pilots can do Level 4 missions by themselves in small ships but it is not recommended. Here is the general guideline that you should follow when first starting Eve Kill Missions.

• Level 1 – Frigate
• Level 2 – Cruiser
• Level 3 – Battle Cruiser
• Level 4 – Battleship

ISK Guide Mission Running Conclusion

Depending on how you are wanting to play the game will depend on what missions you do, For trade, courier and mining missions make sure you have a decent size cargo hold for your ship and you will find them easier with better mining skills and navigation skills.

For kill missions work on your combat skills, Not only your character combat skills but your own knowledge of combat in Eve Online, Make sure your ship is always insured if you want to keep it.
